One of the happiest countries in the world
International surveys like to place Denmark as one of the happiest countries in the world. Come to Denmark and experience how Danish society ensures a high standard of living, safety and prosperity, which contribute to the happiness of the citizens.
Equality for all
Denmark is one of the world’s most equal countries, with minimal discrimination between gender, race or sexual orientation. The tone of conversation is typically informal and relaxed. There is a great focus on a green and sustainable way of life.
Access to most of Europe
A residence permit for Denmark also gives you the opportunity to visit many other European countries that are part of the Schengen cooperation. This includes e.g. Germany, France, Italy, Spain and many more.
It is quite normal for au pairs to use their holidays to explore Europe.
Safety
Denmark is generally considered a peaceful, safe country with low crime rates.
Host families tend to take very good care of their au pairs and are concerned about their health and well-being. We have never experienced any sort of maltreatment, abuse or similar.
As a precaution all au pairs will have access to our 24-hour hotline.

Please note that we cannot guarentee an au pair placement.
Please note that we only approve applications with a thorough description of yourself and your qualifications.
Our experience is that candidates with an insufficient description are rejected by the host families. We therefore recommend a description of at least 400 words.
